After completing her studies in Medical Sciences, Carmen embarked on a career as a researcher in the radiology department of Amsterdam UMC hospital, where she also obtained her Ph.D.. Currently, she is dedicated to conducting research in the field of nutritional medicine. Throughout her career, Carmen has offered guidance to numerous undergraduate and graduate students in their thesis projects.
