Ilona Borremans-Malm

As an experienced thesis supervisor for higher professional education (HBO), Ilona can support you in developing your research proposal, writing your thesis and/or research report, or if you need to retake an exam.

With over 20 years of work experience in mental health care (GGZ), Ilona has been working as a lecturer and lecturer-researcher in higher education (social studies) since 2020. In addition to her work in mental health care and education, she has completed two master's degrees: a Master of Social Work at HAN University of Applied Sciences (2015) and a Master of Educational and Training Sciences at the University of Antwerp (2023).

As a lecturer-researcher, Ilona focuses on practice-oriented research within the care and welfare sector, and she will use this knowledge and experience to assist you further.

Ilona can support you as a thesis supervisor in all HBO social studies programs, such as Social Work, Social Legal Services, or Pedagogy. She is also available for programs such as Nursing, Educational Science, Master of Social Work, or Nurse Practitioner. Due to her extensive work experience, she can assist you in all steps, both in terms of content and research methodology, within practice-oriented (qualitative) research and in writing your thesis.
