Joan ten Hoonte
Joan ten Hoonte is an educational psychologist who holds a degree from Utrecht University (UU). Her expertise lies in teaching educational psychology and guiding students through the process of writing their theses and dissertations. Joan's academic background includes pedagogy, education science, developmental psychology, psychomotor therapy, and art history.
As the owner of KunstMenu, a consultancy firm, Joan conducts research in art education, offers educational consultancy services to institutions, and designs courses for students studying art education. With a career spanning from 1980 to the present, she has taught educational psychology at various art academies, including Codarts, Willem de Kooning, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and InHolland. Joan continues to mentor students in their thesis writing endeavours.
