Steven Scheer

Steven Scheer graduated from Wageningen University with a degree in Water Management and Communication Sciences and has a diverse background as an engineer and communication scientist. With extensive experience as a trainer, lecturer, coach, and PhD researcher, Steven has been helping students successfully complete their graduation research and theses for many years at both applied sciences (HBO) and university levels. His role as an examiner allows him to critically evaluate your work from a grader's perspective, ensuring you understand exactly what is needed to achieve a strong and successful result.

Steven is known for his social and language-oriented approach. He assists you in clarifying your research problem, formulating and operationalizing research questions, applying relevant theories and methodologies, presenting your results convincingly, and – if necessary – writing a professional advisory report.

How can Steven help you?

Steven understands how challenging it can be to get back on track when you feel stuck. Perhaps you have plenty of ideas but struggle to find the main thread or structure your story effectively. Or maybe you lack inspiration and don’t know where to start. Whether you’re dealing with perfectionism, self-doubt, or simply need a firm nudge, Steven is here to help. Together, you’ll find the approach that fits your unique situation.

Once it’s clear what needs to be done, Steven will work with you to create a concrete and practical plan to complete your thesis or research successfully. Regular sparring sessions keep you motivated and inspired, while his feedback and tips help you overcome obstacles quickly and efficiently.

With his extensive knowledge, Steven specializes in internal and external communication, business administration, and project management. He also supports students in (agricultural) technical studies and offers valuable insights into technical challenges.
