Jeske Nederstigt

Jeske is a passionate economic psychologist, specialized in consumer and decision-making behavior. She has many years of experience in education, research, thesis supervision, and academic writing. In addition, she has a strong subject-matter focus on sustainability, behavioral change, and social innovation.

After studying Economic Psychology, Jeske obtained her PhD at Tilburg University with a behavioral approach to shoplifting prevention. She then worked for many years at Fontys, including in the Marketing Management and Applied Psychology degree programs. There, she developed and coordinated educational modules, supervised students during internships and graduation research projects, and contributed to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and research groups.

Jeske also worked as a researcher and program manager at the Fontys Center of Expertise for Circular Transition, where she focused on social innovation and behavioral change. In addition, she is a freelance trainer and behavioral change consultant at GedragsEffect. In this role, she provides training and consultancy on topics including safety and sustainable behavior for a wide range of organizations.
